Take Note! LA BELLA VIA Stationary is almost here!

So this has been a bit under wraps mainly because of the research that goes into producing any product. But I am THRILLED, and nervous at the same time to finally announce that I am going to be selling some of my own stationary. After a year of planning a wedding and doing every invite, favor, book, etc on my own I realized it's such a huge passion of mine. Why not continue doing what I love to do?! I decided to start small with 5 different notebooks, but I am planning (hoping) to expand with note cards, wall art, iphone covers, custom invitations and more! These notebooks are poppy, bright, and fun, everything I am inspired by right now (especially GOLD!). They will be available in my Etsy shop soon!

Dream Rolls

This Saturday I woke up with this insane craving for something sweet and gooey for breakfast. I probably should have just made some french toast because these dream rolls are seriously the most decadent addicting things ever! My husband told me he could not be left alone with them for fear that he'd devour them all! They are sweet, gooey, a little salty chocolaty and just amazing! Definitely not for the faint of heart.

Pillsbury Crescent Roll seamless dough sheet
1/2 cup melted butter (I used this coconut spread)
1tbs butter for spreading
Cinnamon to taste
1 cup crushed graham crackers
1/2 (or more) can of sweetened condensed milk
Pinch of sea salt

Pre-Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a round baking pan with oil. Roll out your dough and spread the butter evenly over the surface. Follow by spreading the Nutella evenly over the butter. Nice and thick, don't be stingy! Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the Nutella and roll up your dough tight and put it in the fridge for about 20 min. In a small mixing bowl mix the crushed graham crackers up with the melted butter and spread into the bottom of your round baking dish. Remove the roll from the fridge and cut the rolls about 1 1/2 inches thick. About 10 rolls and lay them on top of the graham cracker. The rolls should be arranged tightly in the middle of the dish. Scoop up the extra graham crackers in the outer area of the dish and push them close to the rolls and even pile some on top of the rolls. Pour about 1/2 a can of the condensed milk right on top letting it drip all over the sides and pool into the outer area of the dish (trust me, this is good!) Finish off by sprinkling a bit of sea salt on top. Bake for 30 min and enjoy them warm and gooey just out of the oven. Although I have to admit I ate them the next day at room temperature and I liked them even more!

Weekend Ski Trip

{we rented the cutest, romantic one bedroom apartment for the weekend}

{attempting to snowboard ungracefully}
 {ice sculpting going on in town}

This weekend my husband and I decided to drive up to Hunter Mountain for the quick little ski/snowboarding trip. We had the best time up there. The little town of Tannersville is so quaint and quiet. It's the perfect backdrop for a winter romantic trip. Day one of actually being on the slopes I attempted to snowboard. It did not work out for me. Since I already know how to ski it was way too frustrating to be on my butt most of the time. Day two I opted for skis, which was way more my speed and I was able to fly down those slopes nice and smooth. It felt good to be so active for a day since my routine at home allows me almost no time for that. Even if I am unbelievably sore today, it still feels good! If your interested in heading up there I highly recommend these apartments. They are a no service rental meaning they don't get cleaned at all while your there and if you run out of anything like toilet paper, towels ect. you have to come prepared. They also have a sister B&B close by that is a full service rental that you can check out here. Hope everyone had a great long weekend!

Weekend Bits...

 {Brunch at Jane}
{Washington Square Park}
{Caught this little lady venturing far out in the park to get the best untouched snow for her snowman}
{My Husband actually said to me "I'm embracing my inner blogger photographer"}
{One of the best cookies in the city at La Columbe}
 {Trying to get away with NOT sharing this cookie}
 {Picking up some flowers to brighten up our place}
{Finished our Saturday night with take out sushi}

 This weekend we originally had big plans to visit Boston for one of my closest friends 30th Birthday. Then a little fish named Nemo got in the way and forced us to stay here in the city. Which was a little disappointing because my Husband recently bought me my first DSLR camera for Christmas and I was so excited to use it on our little road trip. So since we were stuck here we decided to make the most of it and capture our weekend here at home in the snow. Our weekend was filled with lots of walking in the cold, food, and mini photoshoots. Hope your weekend was eventful and colorful!
